In 1993 Marilyn and Anthony Ruberto established Childrens Playhouse as a family daycare in their Hancock Street home in Everett, MA.

From this modest beginning with just six children in their care, the Rubertos saw their family business grow and flourish with the children of their community.

In 2001 they moved to 46 Bucknam Street, converting Anthony’s mother’s house into an early childhood education center with eight classrooms and 87 children.

In 2007, the Rubertos responded to the growing community need for infant daycare by purchasing 92 Baldwin Ave., the property next door, and renovating it into an infant and toddler center with five classrooms and 41 children.

After many years of dedicated leadership, the Rubertos retired and turned management of Childrens Playhouse over to their daughters. Michelle Ruberto Diaz and Jenny Ruberto bring many years of combined childcare and education experience to Childrens Playhouse.

They are proud to continue their parents’ legacy, steering Childrens Playhouse into its next phase of quality early learning for the children of their community.

We Can’t Wait to Welcome Your Child!
